I'm almost 24 weeks and by this time we had a name picked out for DD last time around. This time we're having another girl (horray!), and we're having a hard time choosing a name! I'll give you the specifics...

- no names starting with "L" - our DD1 is Lucy, and our dog is Leia, so thats enough Ls, lol

-DH really doesn't want a name ending in "y" sound. He says too many people have that sound at the end of their name - which eliminates lots of names right there. I like Heidi, but its the "y" or "eeee" sound again....

-nothing too strange, but not too common. Lucy isn't weird, and it wasn't on the top 50 list either, so we loved it!

We have a few names we kind of like so far, but nothing we LOVE, kwim? (Ian is our boy name probably, but its a girl. Anna, April, Jenna, Julianna... I dont know what else we've considered, but like I said, nothing we've loved so far.) We just absoluutely LOVED Lucy's name and I want that same thing for this baby too! Thanks for any help!

Lizzy - just had to say how cool that you have Jane and Nora on your list - those are the two daughters of my mom's forever-but-now-departed best friend. I grew up with them like they were my cousins. I love both of those names but I can't use them because they're already part of my "family".
