I saw a maternity skirt made from this type of fabric and I can't find any because I don't know what it's called. The skirt is at babystyle - called the crinkle skirt. If I were computer savvy I would post a link. Anyway, I saw the fabric this summer at Hancock's (different print) so I know it can be bought. Here's my best description: It has rows of elastic sewn into the fabric. The stuff I saw this summer already had the matching fabric attached. My mom used to make us gingham sundresses out of it. All she had to do was attach straps and hem the bottom of the fabric. It's also the same type of stuff I've seen tube tops made out of it. It's perfect for a maternity skirt and would be so easy to put together. I've searched ruched fabric, crinkle, and some other words that were just desperate attempts to find the fabric. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I know what you're talking about...it's called elasticized smocking. My mom made me the sundresses, too.
