What time does you 18 month oldish go down for a nap and for how long? Just curious
ds is 20 mo. On days when I work he goes to daycare very early so he gets up at 6:30. He goes back to sleep at daycare at about 8:30 for one hour. He doesn't nap again and goes to sleep around 7:30pm.

On days when I'm off he still gets up around 6:30 or 7 but then goes down for a nap anytime between 11:30 and 2 depending on how tired he is and what kind of night he put in. He usually then sleeps for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.

It's kind of weird and not too consistent but he's happy and always rested. He's the kind of child that I have to go with his flow, and no schedule.

Sooo much like E!
Ds is 19 months - naptime has been noon, consistently, for months now, though in the last two weeks he's been all over the place, because of the time change. Generally he sleeps about an hour and 45 minutes, give or take 15 minutes.

We get up between 7 and 8, and he goes to bed for the night between 7:30 and 9.
DS is now almost 22 months old. At 18 months, he went to sleep anywhere between 1:00 and 3:00, and then he usually slept about three hours. He's starting to resist naps now...sometimes he falls asleep even later, and occasionally he skips the nap altogether.
My 16 month old is one to resist schedules too, although we have a routine-- just not a strict one. For the most part, she takes a 30 minute nap around 9 or 9:30, and then a 1.5-2.5 hour nap sometime after lunch. I have to be really flexible with the after lunch nap. My hubby and I have never wanted nap times or bed times to be a struggle. There are many times when I lay down with her and then realize she's not sleepy enough. During those episodes, it's easier to get up and try again later than to struggle to get her to sleep.
