I have an almost one year old ds, and am expecting #2, due in Feb when ds will be about 17 months old. Right now, for naps and nighttime, I currently feed my ds a bottle in a recliner and then either he falls asleep on the bottle (rarely), or if he doesn't, he kind of flip flops around on me while he settles down to sleep. This could take anywhere from 15 minutes to 1/2 hour or an hour on a bad day.
I had a little freak out moment the other day when I was putting ds to sleep and all of the sudden I thought....Where in the world would the new baby be right now?? Obviously the new baby will sleep alot, which begs the question where would my ds be while getting new baby to sleep?
Should I work to get my ds to be a more independent sleeper or is there something else I can do?
Please experienced mamas, help ease my fears!!
