Oh my God, my nose is going crazy! I can freaking smell EVERYTHING. And most of the time, it is not good smells. I was convinced yesterday that my 2 yr old's palms smelled like dog poop. We don't have a dog, so why would I smell this? Today, I took the boys to preschool and then went to the lab for bloodwork- I could smell horse fertilizer everywhere outside! granted, I live in the midwest, it is quite possible it actually does smell like fertilizer. However, it was so overpowering to me I was retching!

The other thing is that I have been so clumsy/spacey this week. Yesterday, I tried to pour a glass of milk for my son & just bypassed the cup alltogether and dumped the milk on the counter & floor! Doh?! Today I was at the grocery store and knocked a glass jar of food of the shelf, it broke open & made a big mess. Clean up, aisle 5! Then when I came home & tried to put the yogurt in the fridge, I knocked a couple of items off my on shelf onto the floor. Ugh!! Oh and when I went to Target a couple days ago with my 2 yr old, I paid for everything, put my wallet in my bag, then walked off without my stuff! The clerk had to come running after me to give me my bags. :

I had a friend once who had been TTC for many months. She told me that she swore she knew she was finally pregnant the day she suddenly was unable to walk through the house without tripping & falling over absolutely nothing. She says extreme clumsiness is her 1st pregnancy sign! And she was right, she was pg!!

As for me, I definitely have that smell problem going on. Everything stinks. I walked in the bathroom after dh showered this morning & the shampoo smell that I normally would barely notice, just about knocked me over.

Hooray for being pregnant & everything being weird!!! :

Oh boy does dh stink to me right now. And there was this horrible smell in the kitchen this a.m. I finally held my breath and took the garbage out and it was still so bad. Turned out to be the garbage disposal...I dumped some Pine Sol down the drain and ran the disposal and it's better now.

The diaper pail is reeking too and I just can't deal with it right now.

When I was pg with dd I was trying to empty the bathroom trash into the big trash bag and I ended up spilling most of the trash into the open toilet. It was only q-tips, tissue, stuff like that (not gross really) but I couldn't clean up the mess. Every time I'd reach into the toilet to fish something out I would retch and then I would laugh b/c it was so silly. My dh came in and I was laughing, crying, and retching...he took over and cleaned up my mess.

I left part of my stuff at the store the other day b/c I was talking to the cashier who is a couple of weeks ahead of me in pg. Too busy visiting and left the peaches I was craving so much. :

I have some natural housecleaner with organic orange oil.. I've been using it every where because while the orange smell is overpowering it doesn't make me want to puke like the smell of pretty much everything else in my house!

I've been using baking soda and tto in the garbage and diaper pails and it helps. the tto smell is so strong it is overpowering but not nasty.

When I wash diapers I wash out the pail and sprinkle tea tree oil and baking soda in the bottom, and you can add more baking soda every day, it may help.

Surprisingly I haven't been AS scent sensitive with this pregnancy. EXCEPT that I have a scent memory thing going on (or it's things undetectable to my consciousness like pheremones)...

I can't stand when my kids and hubby get anywhere near my face. The kids can't get closer to me than below my chest! Otherwise I feel nauseated and gaggy. And yet, I notice, I am not actually SMELLING anything (that I know of!).

They're all missing mommy kisses
