I'm confused about the different "natural" sposies. Tushies seem to be the only gel-free ones, but the general consensus is also that they suck. Seventh Generation seems popular, but has gel I see, but no chlorine or TBT. What is TBT, and do all the "regular" (Pampers, etc.) have it?

I have a few trips coming where I need disposables and I'm tired of standing in Whole Foods staring at the selection for five minutes and then just walking out empty-handed. I need to make a choice!

I'm "having" to use disposables temporarily. I say "having" but it is more a matter fo just being at my max capacity with moving and packing, and on top of that she outgrew her mediums and I have to buy larges. I *could* make it work, but since the move is going to be making us so much gentler on the environment I'm giving into convenience for awhile. After the move I'll be ordering Larges for her.

I just ordered two cases of seventh generation from drugstore.com because they were reasonable. came out to 34 cents a diaper (they went up 2.00 a case since then though) and free shipping. I did actually think they were gel free. OOPS. I guess I'll start throwing some of her fleece cut outs in there.

I lke them, and figure short term it is ok. I feel like it is better than the alternatives at a price and can deal with. I tried tushies once and I really couldn't stand them.

We use tushies for daycare and haven't had a problem with them yet. Daycare changes her every 2 hours unless she is sleeping and they haven't reported any leaks. She actually had one on for 5 hours! (my mistake) and again no leaks but it was really wet! I really like Tushies. One of my big reasons for using cloth was the gel and since Tushies are the only disposables without the gel they are the only ones we will use.
