Hello Ladies -

I have a question. We will be having baby #3 in the beginning of May. Before we moved from CA to FL, we got rid of all of our baby stuff. We thought that we were done having children. Although once we got settled, we realized that we were so happy and the baby bug bit us again. This was actually a planned event!
My mom made the suggestion that we register for gifts so that we get things that we need, esp since we do not need a lot of the first time parent stuff and since we are so "weird" . I am a firm believer that all I *need* is a sling, a car seat, two outfits, and diapers. But I know that a lot of our relatives will send us things and I would rather receive things that I really want or will really use.
So, I am wondering you all are aware of any great natural family baby registries? I was impressed to see that Babies R Us sells Kushies but they are too mainstream for many of the things that we would like. I know that Earth Baby has a registry but a good friend told me that she had several bad experiences with their customer service. Any suggestions?

TIA!

Love,
I have registered at http://www.naturalbabies.com for my diapers. I have bought over $200 worth of diapers from her and I have always had great service from her.
She also has slings and other things. http://www.mamamoon.com also has a registry. I tried to set one up but I couldnt figure it out. As for the kushies diapers I have one and it leaks and it isn't worth a $1.
I will also register at babies R us for a few blankets and onesies, and maybe a diaper pail and carseat.
I WISH there was a way I could register at one place for everything I want, the cloth diapers from natural babies, the moo cow britax from right start, the sling etc etc.

i've had great experiences with earth baby...as have some other friends. i know www.peapods.com has in store registry, but i don't know if they have anything online yet.

you might see if some of the online stores you like have gift certificates at least, and let people know that you would like gift certificates from those stores so that you can get the items you need.

kanpope,

If you go to www.organicbebe.com, their registry is through another site which allows you to register at any site on the web. I have one there and I've added things from Organic Bebe, the Kangaroo sling site, Natural Babies, etc. You just type (or copy) in the url and a description and it will link to the site (and product) in your registry. This way you're not limited to one store and you don't end up with a bunch of registries.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

The Natural Mother Company has a gift registry:

http://ww4.aitsafe.com/go.htm?go=www...4215&tm=0&im=3

Organic Bebe has a registry, and you can add items from ANY other store to it:
http://www.organicbebe.com/products.asp?REFERER=Devrock

This is done through Felicite's universal registry. Some of their affiliates are Ecobaby, BabyNMore, Greenfeet, Baby Naturale, Liltots (they have Burt's Bees), and Katie's Kisses. However, you are not limited to their affiliates. You can add items from ANYWHERE.

However, I personally prefer the Natural Mother Company, because they allow your guests to ship the gifts to themselves, so that they can bring them to the shower and give them to you personally. Felicite will only ship directly to you, which I think is a downside.

Another natural company that has a registry that allows guests to ship the gifts to themselves is Baby Mine Store.

http://www.babyminestore.com

Oh, another natural company that has a registry is Earth Mama Angel Baby:

http://ww4.aitsafe.com/go.htm?go=www...176&tm=5&im=36

I'm not sure about their shipping policy.

Ok, this is the coolest site I've found!!! You can register at ANY site on the internet and people can buy the stuff for you or do a partial payment--CHECK IT OUT!

http://www.felicite.com/

This is what I want to do, since all of the things I need are from different stores.

Good luck, and if you use it. let us know how it worked out for you!!!

I checked out Wish World and they have a lot of "natural" affiliates:

Alternative Baby, Born to Love, Flutterbye Garden, Diaper Safari, Tuttibella, Comfybummy, Peanut Butter Kisses, This Baby of Mine, Bare Babies, My Cowboy Baby, and Jardine Diapers.

Not all of these places are completely natural, but they carry natural items.

Another natural company that has a gift registry is

http://www.barefootbaby.com
