I think I have postpartum... Although I'm not totally sure.

Sometimes I feel fine.

Other times I cry because I feel sad or lonely. I can validate the sadness/lonliness because my self-employed husband has been gone all the time, working. We also moved from a busy downtown street we lived on for 10 years to a more secluded area two months before the baby came.

She is almost 14 weeks. I have gotten annoyed with my husband's driving, annoyed with my sweet 11-yo son for giving me a kiss or talking. And then I feel bad for being annoyed.

I cry once or twice a day because I have no close friends left because of things that happened before I got pregnant.

Since I am nervous and anxious around people, I can't even get out to make new friends. Besides, my conversation skills suck right now. I forget words, can't seem to complete a sentence. Maybe its CJD or early alzheimers.

I am constantly thinking I might die, or that we will be victims of a violent crime.

I have problems sleeping and wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall back asleep.

I used to eat healthy organic, with minimal meat consumption. Now my diet is crap. I had a whole bag of Salsa Dorritos for lunch and a factory-raised steak for dinner. Oh and Little Debbie's snack cakes.

Anyway. I think it could be postpartum.

I do BF.

Please help me sort through this misery.
Are there any natural remedies, herbs, foods, excercises, ideas?

I know it's tough. DS is 11 weeks old and I've been dramatically up and down since then. I don't have any specific advice right now, but this forum has been a great resource to me. Just take one day at a time and do what you can. I know that when I eat better and exercise I generally feel much better. However, you can't beat yourself up over it. DO what you can when you can. Baby steps.
