hello

i am looking for a natural place to go swimming in the L.A. area as an alternative to the cold ocean and the chlorine filled swimming pools that come along with the apartment complex we will live in. my dd is very sensitive to chemicals like chlorine, her skin is very dry too!

any hints?

You can hike in to a place called the "punch bowls" in Ventura County...

PM me if you cannot find details and I'll ask hubby what he remembers about location.

Malibu Creek State park has a lovely swimming hole called the "Rock Pool". It's a nice flat hike to get there (rocky closer to it, nothing a toddler couldn't handle). It's a quiet little swimming area and so pretty!
