I don't usually have much problem with these and can usually clear them up pretty quickly. I guess I can blame this one on PG hormones and it is kicking my butt. I take probiotics. I have used a couple of nights of topical yogurt with added probiotics, even a couple of nights with a 3 day yeast treatment, and last night, a garlic suppository. I think it may be better, but, man, am I going to get rid of this?! It's been a week and I can usually get rid of one in a day or two. I haven't taken the garlic orally just because of the indigestion I get, but I am considering it!

Does the hydrogen peroxide treatment for BV help this? I don't believe yeast like oxygen, either. It would be nice to have something to squirt on the area during the day to fight it.

I swear by a yoghurt-like product called Bio-K. I don't get yeast infections often, but when I do it's the only thing that will clear them up. It's like yoghurt, but has a lot more live bacteria in it. I take about a half teaspoon orally and then dip a tampon in it (a separate container, obviously ) and wear it for a few hours during the day. My symptoms are generally gone after the first day and I continue using it for another two or three.

I don't know if it'll help, but I sure hope it does! What a drag!

Get boric acid and put it in capsules and stick one up there every night for three nights. It works really well

yea, try the boric acid (there is some called yeast arrest if you don't want to fill capsules yourself....but that's pretty easy)

once i got one with my 1st pg, i pretty much had yeast issues my entire pg b/c of pg hormones... it was more a matter of keeping myself comfy and not letting it get bad. once i had my ds, they were gone!

Thanks for the replies. I did some research on hydrogen peroxide for yeast and apparently, it is anti-fungal. So, since that is something I have on hand, I'm going to try that right now. I thought that I would let others know who were interested. I have heard anywhere from 1 tsp in a cup of water, to 2-3 TBSP in a cup of water. I read that the concentration for bacterial vaginosis was 1 part HP to 3 parts water, so that is what I mixed up. I have a peri bottle and I just squirted it on the exposed skin (something that isn't messy that I can do during the day). We'll see how it works.

Best wishes! I heard that the boric acid is what to do if all else fails So hopefully what you have will work and if not the BA will get rid of it.
