The most awesome thing happened this morning. My friend and I took our kids to the beach-very relaxing. Anyhow, we were all in the water, and were talking about the other mom who is preg, and I was thanking her for telling me. And we were talking about how I should be having a baby in 2 months time-so it was a sort of sad talk. But then a dolphin swam right by us-we could have reached out and touched it! It was that close. It sort of just started swimming around us. It was the sweatest thing. My friend said it was a good luck sign, especially considering it showed up right as we were talking about my loss.
How cool is that? It was sort of healing to watch it swim, they are so beautiful. It left, but then came back about an hour later and just swam around about 50ft from us. Made me feel a little bit better.

Wow, thanks. That is pretty cool. I didn't think to look it up. I just kept thinking how awesome it was he appeared when he did and was thinking about what my friend had said.

How amazing!!! Man, I remember seeing dolphins while on vacation 6 months after Dresden died (from my balcony and a boat tour.. for sure not as cool) and feeling very peaceful! I'm so happy you had that experience, and SO close!!
