Anyone know of any?? We will be living in southern Maine until this winter, but will be moving up to Wiscasset soon. If you know of any up in that area, that would be great too

Thanks!!

Check out Kathryn Landon-Malone she has moved her practice to True North on Rt 1 in Falmouth 781-6742. I have never been to her but I have heard good things. She is a naturopath.

Also consider Dr. Paul Balzer, he just moved his practice from Portland to New Gloucester, we use him for my daughter. He is an MD specifically a family practitioner but very much with a natural slant. His own baby was a home birth and he doesn't vax his kid so he had no problem with me delaying vaxes at this time even gave me a tape on why I should wait.

Hope that helps/

Steve Leverett at True North is also great. He is a DO, but is a naturopath as well as an acupuncturist. Dr. Balzer is a DO. We use him as well. I love his stance on vaxing. What a godsend.

I also want to recomment Robert Deutch. He is in portland on Auburn street. He is 'technically' a chiropractor, but he is a homeopath and uses many therapies. Highly recommended.

comin' in late here, but heres another vote for Dr. Balzer. We only visit him once a year or so cause our kids are healthy. I love that he is on the same page as us as far as homebirth, no vax, family bed, etc...

Oh, and Sarah in Topsham is great too! She was my midwife for Sammy's birth. I like Robert Deutsch as well.

We had Katherine Cranford (she used to work w/ Sarah Ackerly) come to our house after our homebirth to check out our baby, and she is wonderful!
Good luck,
Balzer is great! Heck he even gave me a video to watch about reasons to consider delaying vaxxing. Just a wonderful doc, the total drive is about 45 mins, granted in winter it would be longer. Also his new location is gorgeous. Considering we are delaying vax we are not going up there on a 2 mos schedule so its not bad.

Balzer really is worth the drive. I drive from Portland and it is still a hike....but I really don't mind...especially after my experience with my first doc here for Ian . We just make a day of it....have some lunch or a snack at the bakery...and then go for a walk....it is really pretty there.
