I'm seeking to buy a new nursing bra, well a few, but I'm not having much luck. I used bravado last time,a nd didn't care for them, as the band always rolled up.

Underwire is irritating(metal allergy here). so i'm limited. Double that with being small busted(AA, yes even when nursing).

Any suggestions???

I have two of medela's comfort line (I think this line may be new) that I really like. I like them better than the bravado, which I didn't like the elastic part either. The only thing about the comfort line is that it doesn't give that much support, but if you are small, it would probably be fine. They are kindof more like a sports bra/sleep bra...spandex-type stuff but not as binding...

Ditto on the Medela!! If you can find a local Medela store they will fit you right there. Their bras are super supportive! **desperate for a few more now that I think about it!!**

I decided to go and be fitted for a *good* bra.

It turns out I'm wearing the WRONG band size AND cupsize, hence the discomfort.

I was well educated on how cup sizes work.... A in a 36 is NOT the same cup as an A in 34, which is not an A in 32...lol.... As band sizes change, so does the cup size.

36C cup will match cups on the 38B, 40A, 34D, 32DD 30E....

It's so absoultely wild. So I've been fitted into a 32 band, but non pregnant she'd figure a 30 would be more comfortable, but she wants me to have a bit of expansion room as baby does it's final growth spurt in there. So my new bra is
32DD
I konw is sounds like a HUGE leap, but I've not had a proper bra ever.... I just tried to find something comfortable. I have a set of breasts that since nursing 3, are not what they used to be, they hide under the arm(which is why underwire is so horrendous for me). This bra brings all the breast tissue to the front where it *should* be. And i look amazing
. Dh is
off the walls at all the cleavage..lol.. no more dreams of a boob job....:LOL

Wow, that's a lot different than the AA. I was fitted too by my lactation consultant, but I wasn't happy with the classic medela bra. I am large, and it seemed to rub under my arms alot. I also have problems with straps falling down my shoulder, I have very sloped shoulders. The comfort line is great though because they have the sports bra type straps and back.
