<p>I am in need of a pediatrican (preferably in North Georgia) who respects my right not to vaccinate my children and will not harass me or dismiss my children because of it. I would prefer either a female doctor or a female nurse practitioner.</p>
<p>It would be ideal if this pediatrican or NP accepts Amerigroup and straight Medicaid.</p>
<p>I am open to accepting a female Family Practice doctor if they accept children of all ages as well.</p>

<p>Where in north Georgia? I'm in Atlanta and I see Dr. Marion Owen at Whole Family Medicine, in Decatur. She actually prefers a delayed vax schedule (like, she doesn't like to MMR until I think age 3, for example). We've been gradually implementing a couple of vaxes, but I'm pretty sure she's totally fine with non-vaxing, too. My DD (almost three now) LOVES her...she's really good with toddlers. </p>

<p>We switched a couple of years ago from dr kute to <a href="http://www.wholefamilymed.com/Site/HOME.html" target="_blank">Dr. Owen</a>.  We drive from Roswell to see her becase we LOVE Dr. Owen.  The whole family sees her.  Yes, she is totally fine with not vaxing!  She has a waiting list you can get on, but she also has recently partnered with a NP, and I think you might be able to get in to see the NP as a new patient.  My baby saw the NP last month and we liked her very much.  I'm not sure she takes your insurance, but you sould call.</p>

<p>We do not mind getting a family practice doctor, either, as long as they see children as well and accept Medicaid/Amerigroup.</p>

<p>Ok. So, i called Dr Kute's office and they were VERY nice. They are happy to see my children and just told me that i would be required to sign a form everytime I come in that states we refuse vaccinations. Not a problem for me.</p>
<p>Thanks for the advice. i guess I am either willing to drive to Alpharetta, or i can make Medicaid drive us to each of those appointments.</p>

<p>Ok. I "think" Woodstock might be closer for you. If so, you can check out Dr. Jordana Heaven <a href="http://www.woodstockpeds.com" target="_blank">www.woodstockpeds.com</a>  I have no personal experience with her, but have a work partner that says she will accept no vax clients. </p>

<p>Its not EVERY time.. but it is anytime there are new vaccines that are supposed to be given, they will have you sign against those. Every dr does that</p>

Any others have experience with Dr. Heaven? My daughter took her new baby to Dr. Abrams who we really liked but Dr. H is much closer to home. I just heard her name for the first time today.
