Everything at www.littleturtleknits.com is easy to understand and has very clear instructions. I taught myself to knit on those patterns! You can't go wrong with them!

Have you done the aubrey doodle pants pattern?

I have, and it's really simple. The only problem I had was with grafting the crotch- there were a few holes at either side, but they came good at the end. Give it a go, what have you got to lose?

Is there an even easier longies pattern for a first time knitter than theaubrey doodle pants pattern?

I did picky pants as my first longies. It was my second knitting project after a hat. I like the way Theresa lays out everything step by step.

Another vote for anything from Little Turtle Knits!

All Theresa's patterns are easy to understand and come with detailed instructions and pictures as well.
Can't go wrong with LTK.
