DS is two, currently 28 pounds, and is outgrowing his BG OS as well as his drybees fleece nighttime dipes. And that is what currently makes up ALL of our stash, so IDK what to do next! I'm not sure of his measurements as I haven't taken them in months. Part of the problem with the BG's might be that the velcro on some of them just isn't sticking as well anymore, but it seems like there are only a select few that I can put him in that won't completely fall off once he starts jumping around. They just aren't a good fit anymore. We are on the PL'ing road but it has been like 5 steps forward and 10 back....I don't mind that so much, but it's frustrating that I might have to buy a whole new set of diapers when he does so well with it at times(well, he did very well in the beginning but there have been A LOT of accidents lately!).

He hasn't really done well with training pants thus far, the only way he has gone potty is if I let him run around half-naked. We haven't tried *big boy* underwear yet...

Should I move him up to X-Large dipes? Any recommendations for a very small budget? I would prefer to keep him in velcro if using dipes, so that he can easily take them off should he actually want to go potty himself, but if we go that route I would rather the dipes have some sturdier velcro than those flimsy little BG tabs. :

*sigh* If only I had taken the time to learn how to sew....I'd love to make some but sewing seems like such a daunting task; I really have no experience with it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks mamas!

If you can sew at all, you should check out Diaper kits. I have made some of the AIO and some of the covers. They are very easy to do. They come with written instructions and there are video tutorials on the site.

Have you tried replacing the tabs on your BG's? That's pretty easy to do and may fix your problem.

If neither of those will work for you, you could always buy used off Diaper Swappers.
