I have to go out this afternoon, and we always eat at 5:30. I won't be home until 5:15. I need to have something ready! I don't know what to make though. I have a bunch of frozen chicken breasts, and rice, potatoes, veggies etc. but, I am stuck.<br><br>
Can someone help?

There is a fantastic Adobo Chicken recipe that was posted here before. You can just do a search on "adobo chicken" it takes only 4 hours on high in the crock. Mt only suggestion is too use low sodium soy sauce if you don't like things on the salty side. Although I loved it as is!!!

I found the recipe, but I dont know if my DH would like it. What is it like?<br><br>
I have been looking at recipes online, but they all use icky canned soups... sighh

Brown sugar chicken -<br><br>
put the breasts in a slow-cooker.<br>
Mix up this stuff : 1 cup packed brown sugar<br>
2/3 cup vinegar<br>
1/4 up lemon lime soda<br>
2-3 tablespoons minced garlic<br>
2 tablespoons soy sauce<br>
1 teaspoon black pepper<br>
and dump it over the chicken. Turn the thing on, and it's done when they're not pink anymore. :LOL<br><br>
it's dh's favourite .. he loves it over rice or mashed potato <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1">
