<p>I have no choice but to work. I was having family watch DS, but only temporarily. I need to now seriously consider daycare/child care. I have a form to help me get daycare cost assistance, so it will the be state paying for most of it. They gave me a list of providers. I've called around to see which ones will allow cloth diapers first... then I will try and tackle the vaccine issue. :S</p>

<p>Can they refuse to allow DS into their care based on vaccination alone? I know private schools aren't held to the OH laws of vaccine exemptions, but does that go for state paid for child care as well?</p>

<p>If they except state assistance, then I believe they have to also follow the state regulations.  And if OH is the same as NY, it would mean they can except religious exemptions.  But they have to approve them.  OH might even have philisophical exemptions too, but I would stick with relgious.  Its seems to have more weight to it. <p>I would and see what exemptions your state has. And the process of getting each one. I believe they are required to take the exemption but not sure. It depends. You also might look into unregistered Home daycares. Or stay at home moms looking for extra cash. I was so nervous as I just returned to work part time and found a stay  at home who watches a few kids for $$$. She is a registered foster parent although not active at the moment. She is just like me and does not Vaccinate. I was nervous when I told her. It was such a relief to find a fellow liked minded parent. Just an idea.</p>
