I need some advice from some experienced mothers please. I have a choice between two nursing pillows - "my breast friend" http://www.babyuniverse.com/man.asp?...FQE9hgodGQaCVw and the "boppy"-http://www.boppy.com/.
which one do you think is a better option?

You probably don't want to hear this, but I always found a regular pillow works the best. I never liked how the other pillows hug your body, and they always seemed too narrow when it came down to balancing a baby on it to nurse. Plus, after nursing for a week or so, you'll probably find you don't need a pillow anyway. I gave away my nursing pillow after two weeks with my first DD because I thought it was too much of a hassle.

That being said, I know a lot of moms really like the boppy later on to prop their babies in, especially when the kids are learning how to sit...

i'm not a mama yet, but i am going with my brest friend -- i have this fantasy of being able to walk with one hand on the baby and that thing strapped around me. i have heard it is preferable to the boppy except for mothers too large to fit into it.

I am a plus sized Mom (3x) and I had the boppy (which was made for a size 4 Momma) and a Breastfriend and the Breastfriend was the best ever. I was so much more supportive than the boppy. I'm going to be using a sling, hopefully, though for most of the nursing what with having an almost 3 year old and this baby due around the holidays.

I really liked the Kuddle Ring which is very much like the boppy. I hated the 'BreastFriend' myself.

I used the boppy. I'll be using it again this time. But I did have to use a regular pillow under the side of the boppy where her head was because it wasn't quite high enough for me.

I still use my Boppy with my 2-year-old, at least for her before-bed nursing. Now that I'm big and pregnant I'm in love with the Boppy all over again because it keeps her off the tummy

I used a Breastfriend a few times when my daughter was in the NICU because it was what they had. I felt hemmed in by it and didn't like it at all. To be fair, though, part of the reason I didn't like it was that it was covered in vinyl so they could clean it easily between users.

I went with the one from www.kidalog.com. I tried out both the others and just liked that one better!!!
