I got intouch with someone in ICAN who gave me the name of someone closer to me, but i was wondering if anyone has anyother info.

You could try Patrick Thornton, CNM. He has a website at mrmidwife.org. He is a very opened minded pratictioner. If he cannnot help you himself, hw may be able to get you in contact with an OB who will entertain the idea. Good luck.

You might have to try to locate a lay midwife and consider a home birth. See if you can find one in your area through friends. Try going to La Leche League, that is a great place for those kinds of contacts.

I agree with LLLHeather. Also try chiropractors offices and health food stores. They often have great resources that could help you.
