I am making some dolls and some items for babies and I need "stretch terry" for them. I prefer white that I can dye, or I need a large rainbow of colors. All I can find is a color or two here or there, but no place that really sells it. Where can I find it?

The terry that I need is the terry that soft baby towels are made of. What is that actually called? What is french terry? how does it differ from other terry cloth? I know woven terry is NOT what I want, but that seems to be all I can find.

Help!

This site carries stretch terry for $2.99 a yard, but don't know what colors they have. You might just try a Google search for stretch terry fabric and see what you come up with.

Good luck

Thanks,

I have tried every google search I could think of. I have found a tiny bit here and there, usually not exactly what I'm looking for. I did run across the site you mentioned and they looked most promising.

I will continue my quest...

Can anybody describe to me the differences in the terries??
