We are going to St. Paul next week on Thursday and are planning on visiting the Children's Museum and the Science Museum. What are your recommendations as far as parking, and also are there any good, family friendly restaurants in that general area? We'll be eating both lunch and dinner down there.

I love Cossetta's. It's very family friendly and really yummy Italian food on West 7th. It is within walking distance from Science Museum. A great place for lunch.
For dinner, I would go to Beirut's on Robert Street (this isn't technically downtown, it's on the west side). They have wonderful Lebanese food and are very family friendly.

Thanks! We love Cossetta's. We have eaten there every time we have gone to the Children's' Museum. I think we'll have to go again.

Both museums have parking ramps--just watch for the signs.

Cossetta's is probably your best bet for food. It's a couple blocks up from the Science Museum.

Mickey's Diner is next to the Children's Museum. The old diner car is a Minnesota landmark. The food is so-so--standard burgers and fries--but it is worth a trip for the experience.

The Science Museum has a food court type restaurant and the Children's Museum sells sandwiches.
