Isn't the name of the waterproofing stuff for PUL called DWR? Will other waterproofers work? I was at Evilmart (buying Sportswash) and I noticed that there were other brands of waterproofing. I forgot what brand names, but they weren't DWR. Does it matter what kind I buy? What do I look for? How often do I use it?

I need it for my wet bags. Even though I always air dry them, washings start to take their toll on the waterproofness.

I know that overseas they don't carry the atsko brand and I know of several people who have used other brands with success.
Most waterguards should work similar to the atsko. Just be careful if using on diapers, be sure not to get any on the inside of your diaper.

I always just throw my bags and pul covers in the dryer w/ some fabric softener sheets-

Works every time!

I use Permanent Water Guard. I have never had to apply it to anything more than once.
