I need help from you other breastfeeding mama's<br>
Since January I have been sick with colds almost non-stop one after another, i exclusivley breast feed, could this be the reason?? should i be taking vitamins? I need to get my immune system back in shape, help!<br>

Usually I'm as healthy as can be. 1 cold a winter, that's it. I just got over being sick for 2 weeks! I even lost my voice...it was awful! I was wondering too if it's from bf'ing.

I would definitely look into your diet. Yes, breastfeeding takes a lot from your body...you need more calories to make breastmilk than you do to make a baby. So I would start there. Taking a vitamin could help if you find that you are not getting enough of the nutrients through your diet. Also, are you drinking enough fluids and getting enough rest? You may also want to pop over in the health and nutrition forums for some advice on how to boost your health/immunity right now.
