I'm really awful - dd is 8 months and I haven't bought her a teddy bear or attachment figure. She has a few stuffed toys but really just chews on them and they're not made to last.

She hasn't actually seemed interested in cuddling anything yet. What age did your baby start to enjoy cuddling a bear or doll?

So can anyone recommend a good quality cuddly bear or doll? Fave shop? Fave website?

I love www.boydsstuff.com they have a line of baby safe bears that are double bagged to protect baby from the stuffing. You can't buy at the site but they are sold at many collectable shops.

I don't think my dd really got into cuddlies until she was about 1.

Baby Gund has cute animals that have sewn eyes/noses (nothing is loose for choking).

I second build-a-bear! All my kids have one. They come with little birth certificates too.
