HI - I am hosting a small playgroup at my home tomorrow (2 other moms). Anyhow, we all have dietary restrictions and as a result, I am at a loss for an easy dish or two to prepare. Wheat free, Soy Free, Lactose/Dairy Free, Corn syrup free, Nut Free. Any suggestions? I am at a loss.

For myself, I eat Rice/Chickpeas/Oatmeal daily. But, I believe that I need something a bit more substantial or at least entertaining.

I'd say a snack tray with carrot strips, apple slices, grapes (cut if the kids are young), whatever fruits and veggies. Perhaps hummus as a dip. I've also used italian dressing before for a vegan friend of ds's. or avocado dip?

Perhaps some rice crackers.
