I need to find a good psychologist in the Portland Metro area who is attachment parenting and extended breastfeeding friendly. I have a 2 year old that needs an evaluation as soon as possible for a somewhat emergent situation (I don't wish to go into details here), but I am not familiar with who is good in this area.

Have you tried posting in your Find Your Tribe area?
If not, I would try that asap. Sorry your lo is having trouble and I hope she/he gets better soon.

maybe ask in pdx tribe like PP suggested or craigs list posting in PDX in community boards...?

can't help more w/out knowing more about the needs. is there a place for kids psychological needs there, like a counseling center for kids who have been abused or whatever (if that is the case)? i know there is one here by me...
