A few things come to mind. I'll bet that you are the type of woman that has really low blood pressure. Second, you may have issues with low blood sugar, so you need to stay on top of the eating. But, my biggest clue is that you are probably low in iron. Are you seeing a doctor or midwife? Has any labwork been done? If your labs are good, then it's just an issue of the low blood sugar combined with a low blood pressure and eating more is what is going to help - even with your nausea.

I'm so sorry. Have you looked into B6 injections or something for your nausea? I know it's hard to think about, but if you eat more often - especially protein - you may quell alot of that nausea, and the fainting feeling.

Let me know how it goes.

i am seeing a dr my midwife had to stop seeing patients due to hospital insurence red tape is all i was told
but it seems the drs dont listen to a word i say they keep telling me to drink i think if i drank anymore i would float lol i have always been a little anemic but maybe i should get a test to check those levels. i am taking a b6 and unisom combo at night and it does help a bit but on some days it is worse than others. if i have low blood pressure what would a course of treatment to keep that under control be? my first thought was that is was blodd sugar since i get shaky and feel pretty bad. what kinds of things would i do to treat low blood pressure? maybe if i get some info i can get more agressive with this dr i am hoping to see the midwife in the practice even though she only does ob appointment and not delivers anymore. it doesnt really bother me since i am planning a unassisted birth this time around thanks for the help

well, the main thing is that with lower blood pressure, you're more likely to feel just like you're describing. if you're anemic or have blood sugar issues, then that just compounds it.
It toally sucks!

I think that you are probably getting close to being out of the woods for the nausea - though I think that adding more food, more often might help. Have you tried eating every two to three hours? What about adding a supplement like Floradex (an iron supplement made from food and herbs - found in most health food stores) or chlorophyll? This might help. Also, if you're doing prenatal vitamins, you may want to hold off on those until you start to feel better.

I'm so sorry, Mama. This just sucks.

the weird thing is i have been eating every 30 min because if i dont i start feeling aweful. and with the m/s it makes me feel worse to have a full tummy but without one i get shaky and stuff. i am taking prenantels when i feel good enough to keep them down. thanks for the help i will call the office and see if i can get a few tests.
