Need suggested reading material for FAM/NFP

My sister has been diagnosed with leukocytoclastic vasculitis and they have also diagnosed it to be idiopathic, meaning they don't know why she has it. After paying close attention to her outbreaks of petichiae (sp) and researching about birth control and estrogen problems, we really suspect her birth control is playing a big part in this. I have suggested FAM/NFP but she is SO very fearful of getting pregnant. Could anyone suggest any books, websites, etcetera that I could pass on to her? I would really like to get her off of birth control.

Thank you, thank you!

Taking Charge Of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler is the reference I used to get started with FAM. It has a lot of good information about the physiological processes involved in a woman's monthly menstrual cycle and explains in detail how and why the method works. And there are color pictures.

Thanks! I've heard many people mention that book and thought of reading it for myself. Any other thoughts or ideas from anyone?
Garden of Fertility
The Art of Natural Family Planning
are two other books I have on the subject. The Art of NFP is written from a Catholic POV and that can be off-putting for some people. Garden of Fertility I didn't like as much as Taking Charge of Your Fertility. ETA: TCOYF was the book that got me started and I think it has a lot of good info. I'd suggest she start with that one.
TCOYF and "The Art of Natural Family Planning" are great resources. A website that has some helpful info is: www.ovusoft.com. There is a message board to discuss cycles and charting (as well as LOTS of other things). I hope your sister is able to get things figured out with her health.
