Now, my DH isn't one of those cutely clueless diaper guys. He washes them, can work a snappi and has his own opinions about what does and does not make a good diaper.<br>
He has asked me to find his ideal cloth diapering system. Basically, from his description, he wants the fit/one sizeness of a Bumgenius but as an AI2 with a snap in soaker. Is there any such thing?<br>
His big requirement is that it have aplix to fasten, as he can't get a good fit on DD with snaps.

i was gonna suggest BG!s. but you could do sort of the same thing, with g-diaper g-pants, and a lay in soaker pad. other than that, i'm not sure what you'd pick, unless like, you could get a WAHM to do a custom system for you.

Yep, he loves the BGs, but hates fishing out the insert. Doesn't want an AIO because they take too long to dry and take extra effort to get clean (like I said, he does the laundry sometimes)<br>
We will have 2 in diapers in Nov, and if DH doesn't have diapers he likes, he will just use sposies. Right now, DD is in cloth about 50% of the time, as she is a pretty heavy wetter and if she isn't changed every hour or so, will leak right out of every diaper we have.

OK, so you don't ACTUALLY mean diapers FOR your DH! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br>

Oh, drats! I wish you hadn't changed that title- the way it was before works so much better with the "funny justaposition of titles" thread. Just now, it would have been "I need to vent" "Need to find diapers for DH."<br><br>
Now with your title change it just isn't as funny. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br><br>
All I can say about your diaper quest is that if I didn't have fibromyalgia (limiting my ability to use a snap press and doing more than occasional sewing) I would have spent the last 3-4 years marketing exactly what you're looking for (along with some sized WIOs and WIO training pants and fitteds with wool covers)<br><br>
From when I was doing market research, I discovered that the snap-in soakers are often sold with wool covers (since wool needs different care than PUL and cotton or hemp) and called "wool in ones"- I'm not sure if this snap-in system has ever been done with any other cover materials.

Hee. Well, you can always leave that bit off.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink"><br>
I assumed I might get more real diaper answers and less "must be a troll" ignoring this way.<br><br>
I usually order from jamtots, and they have snap-in soakers to go inside the Berryplush covers. DH really liked that, just didn't want fuzzy, minkee covers (minkee creeps me out) and wanted one-sized capabilities because our kids are already almost 10 lbs at birth, so there's not much worry about the diapers not fitting a teeny newborn.
