My dd started wearing "big girl underwear" a few weeks ago. Apparently she didn't wipe very well (urine) a few times, because now she is very red and chafed. My fault for not supervising the wiping better <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad"> Anyways, I'm putting regular Balmex diaper cream on her, but should I be using something else? Lotrimin maybe? She's very umcomfortable so I want to get it resolved quickly. Thank you!

I've always had great luck with the waleda calendula diaper cream. It's super thick and my ds only needs one application before the rash goes away.
