i have just decided that i want to knit a prayer shawl for a 16 year old girl sadly at the losing end of her battle with aneroxia

since i am not a fast knitter (and because i am trying to quickly knit some scarves to be sent to troops overseas by dec 22nd!!!) i need a yarn that i can use #10-#13 needles (i figure it will not take me so long to knit), soft, comes in bright colors and is warm but not scratchy....doesn't have to be wool...i think quickly washable would be better in this situation...i doubt the family wants to worry about careful washing should it get soiled....and fairly cheap...i am so tapped out this christmas already.......

can you help??? i don't mind ordering online if the place has super fast delivery.

also check out the other lion brand chunky yarns, like thick and quick chunky.. if you're going to an arts & crafts store they should all be in the same section.

: for your young friend

Here are a few patterns as well...you might have to register to see them...but it's free and well worth it (IMHO)
