Hey ladies, I'm back to ask for some positive vibes. The babes kidney is up to 8 mm of fluid and looks like it won't be going away before birth. Which means ultrasounds, antibiotics, and lots of pediatric visits. So please if you would send us some positive energy and maybe it will magically go away

Sending you and babe lots of good vibes and healing energy. Does lo have fluid on both kidneys? My ds had fluid on his, I can't remember how much, but they said it was "moderate" at the 30 weeks ultrasound (on a scale of severe, moderate, or mild). He had an ultrasound at 2 weeks old and one kidney was moderate and one was mild. We opted to forgo anymore testing, as I had read that most of these cases resolve themselves by 1 to 2 years old. He is 2 1/2 years old now and has never had a bit of trouble, no uti's or anything!

That is definately comforting to hear. Its just one kidney and its at 8mm now, they said it would have to hit 10 before sending us to a neonat dr. so I dunno you think that would be considered moderate? We have a horrible history of UTIs in my family. I guess our genetics for plumbing just aren't right, so I am just dreading what poor Annabelle is going to have to deal with seeing as every other female in my family has urinary problems and never had anything like this diagnosed. It just feels like a double whamy, YKWIM?

Thanks so much ladies! It really makes me feel better to know others are thinking on us!
