This is my 2nd month of taking Soy. I took 120mg cd2-6 and I am currently on cd11. Last month i didn't ovulate until day 24 so I know I may have a little while longer to wait and see.

However, this month I have had some significant stress and have started exercising (light) do you think that will hinder the effects of the soy and ovulation? I am taking my ex-husband to court for back child support and custody modification etc, so I have naturally been a little wound up from that. not too bad anymore, but last week was not good. Then I just bought an exercise DVD from walmart last night that I am wanting to start. It is one of those 10 minute workout deals. . you can do one a day or put them all together for more intense results etc.

Do you think the exercising will affect my ovulation?? I am just so paranoid with this whole thing. . I could NOT believe that I actually ovulated on my own last month, so I am so scared it won't happen again this month.

No, I don't think so. Exercise in general is good, but frequent anaerobic exercise (hard cardio/weight lifting) can cause delayed ovulation or suppress it all together. I found my cycles got better when I began exercising regularly. I do cardio 6 days a week and lift weights 3 days a week. I think you only run into problems when you get in bulk building and really serious training.

Thanks! That's what I'm hoping for. . what about the stress? How bad are those effects? Like I said I have been calm for about a week now, but there were two days where I was really worked up. Not sure how the hormones work in that sense, but like I said I am SO paranoid! haha

AND. .to top it all off. . (continuation from yesterdays post) . . .for the heck of it I took another OPK with FMU and it was positive again .. .took another one at 1:00 and just like yesterday negative. . so all my fmu's are positive and afternoon ones are negative.

Stress has definitely made me ovulate later before. But everyone is different. I think stress is well known factor for delaying ovulation, so try to stay as calm as possible. Yeah, easier said than done. Right?

As for the tests.. how many positives have you had now (like how many days)? Are you temping as well? If you're getting a lot of positives and not ovulating something might be going on. I can't remember you history.
Have you seen a doc about that?

Ya i'm the one that posted about my doctor the other day.

She's an idiot, even on the base level that all ob's should have knowledge about.

I got 2 weeks worth of positives two cycles and never even ovulated. . i am starting to suspect PCOS but I am waiting through this one cycle before I go see a specialist.

I just think it's wierd that they're always positive in the morning and always negative in the afternoon.

we shall see I suppose!

Exercise is actually really good for you when TTC as long as its not extreme... it could actually help you o on time even with the stress... however yes the stress can delay it.
