Does the WHO code only count for Africa? What about American mothers and children- do we not also deserve freedon from unethical marketing which undermines our culture's ability to sustain breastfeeding as the healthy gold standard?

on the Nestle website they say they are

of course they are (in their favour).

I recall a huge scandal a few decades ago where Nestle was conning impoverished people in buying Lactogen in preference to bf, at great health risk to the children.
