Because of Courtenay E, I was turned on to the Cook's Illustrated books, which are fabulous. (I already watched the PBS show, but never thought to read the books : )

Anyway, I was browsing the library's website, and it looks like they have 2 new cookbooks on order. One for the Cook's Illustrated Best of Italian and one for the best of vegetables. Woohoo! I can't wait to read them.

I have *The Best Recipes* by Cook's and it is wonderful. My favorite is
*The Yellow Farmhouse Cookbook* by Christopher Kimball editor of Cook's Illustrated Mag. It is a walk down memory lane with Chris into his life growing up in rural Vermont. The recipes are pure Americana. Everything I have made has been delicious!

Blessings,
