Hi, My name is Lace. I'm a new mom. My little girl, Tovah Neryse was born 1/12/07. Very unwilling, I might add.
I had a horrible birth experience and she was 13 days late. To make a long story short.... I wanted a natural labor and my Dr insisted that I needed to be induced after I went 13 days over. They pushed every single intervention on me that I hadn't wanted and it ended with a C-section because the cord was wrapped twice around her neck. I spent a week in the hospital due to infection and then DH and I moved one day after I arrived home. There is alot I'm leaving out but I'm trying not to write a book.
I am BFing. We experienced severe supply problems after I went on the mini pill and was told I would need FF. Tovah hadn't gained any weight in 2 months! I went to the local Breastfeeding clinic, rented a pump, started on Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle and now.... She's growing like a weed and my supply is great. I am living proof that it can be done!
