ok, so i had my mirena removed on march 10th. i had the mirena for about 9 months. af arrived on th 12th. my hubby and i really weren't "trying" not to the samne degree that we were the last time. i wanted to take it a little easy and see where it went. we really didn't do a whole lot of bd this cycle. now i'm 4 days late, when i'm a pretty regular person. is it just from the mirena or what? i thought that the hormones go right out of your system, for the most part anyway. what's going on? am i pregnant?

well i did, but bfn. so i'm not sure what's going on,

I had a mirena IUD before TTC with dd. Got it out Nov. 7, got some bleeding about a week later, then more bleeding a week later. We got pregnant Dec. 16th.

I think since the mirena has hormones in it, when its removed it messes up your cycle. BUT, for us at least, it quickly returned back to normal and got pregnant quickly.

Have an IUD again (the non hormonal kind) and getting it out on Wed!
