Hubby and I are expecting baby #2 in Late January! If this baby is anything like my Kaylee though it won't come on time at all...lol I'm planning for a home water birth this time around. No more hospitals for me!!

Congrats Drema! I am due Jan. 2 or so. We are planning another waterbirth at home. My last was born in the caul in water on July 22, '04. A very gentle birth and we had a lotus birth as well, leaving the placenta cord to detach naturally. I think we'll do that again also, if all goes well.

Hi. We are expecting our first in late Dec... thought I'd drop in on the Jan thread, too! I just found MCD last week, and it's been WONDERFUL to read about all you super cool mamas out there!!

Welcome! I guarantee you will be very happy with a water birth. I labored in water with DS1 and delivered in water with DS2. Wonderful, amazing deliveries both times. Delivering in the water was the best. It moved things along and helped my body so that I didn't tear.
