Dh and I have a beautiful 2 yo almost 3yo dd. It took 7 months after I stopped the pill to get pg with her. We started ttc for #2 a month before her 1st b-day and so far no luck.

: I did find out in November I had a couple of cysts, so my Dr put me back on the pill to regulate my cycles and get rid of the cysts, that was for 4 months. We have been ttc again since Fedruary. My last 2 cycles were normal for me and this month I am going long again. I know af is on her way I am bloated and crampy, I wish she would show her ugly face and get it over with we are do to leave for vacation on Friday. I don't usually test when I am late b/c my hcg levels aren't high enough yet. I found out with dd's pregnancy that I O closer to my period than most women. I had to have a blood test to find out. I was 11 days late and 6 urine test all negative, so I usually wait 2 weeks after I am suppose to start to test.

I'm looking for a group of Women in the same boat, I am the only out of my group of friends that is ttc, so I want people to talk to about the trials and joys of this journey.

Hi Mama! and welcome!

Im not dealing with it personally, but I know lots of women on here are dealing with a short LP phase, and I know it can make things oohhh so much more challanging. You'll get tons of support here and I know theres lots of great advice to lenthen that phase!

Yay! A lot of people are secretly trying in real life and very open about it here

Hi.

I too am new here. I've been lurking for a few weeks, and have found all your info, opinions & experiences very useful.

Just a bit of background info:
DH & I decided to 'throw caution into the wind' in Nov 06, concerning making baby #1. We figured that if we just DTD, and leave everything up to fate, one day we'll get a result...after all we've spent our entire adult lives trying to AVOID that very thing... we assumed avoiding pregnancy would be more difficult than trying for one. 6 months later.... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I honestly never EVER thought that trying to get pregnant would be SO difficult.

So, in May I decided to start charting my BBT. I thought that this might have been the month... but after today's temp drop, and feelings that AF is on the way (I'm betting she'll show tomorrow), I'd say that I'm out for this month.

Ah well, I've now got this board to look forward to and keep me busy, busy, busy.
