So the Stowers family has posted a youtube video of the experiance of the food raid at there home about there food coop.

It does sound tramatic, and upsetting.

Thank you for posting this. I have been following this story and think it is terrible.

I just want to know WHY? Why were they raided? It sounds like they (the family) still doesn't know either.

I would like to know this as well. Does the family actually make money with the co-op? Are they selling their own products as well? In the video they make it clear that they are selling items from surrounding farms/businesses--- are they all licensed/safe? What are the rules surrounding selling food out of your home?

This is just NUTS. I hope they are able to recover some of what was seized. I know that nothing will make up for the horrific experience that has happened to them. UGH. It just doesn't make sense, this doesn't sound at all in proportion to the scale of whatever offense they are trumping up.
