I just found this forum and wanted to introduce myself. I live in the very North GA/almost TN area and consider Chattanooga my hometown. I have a 2 1/2 yr old ds and a 2 day old ds (born at almost 30 wks, currently in the NICU) I'd love to connect with like-minded or semi-like-minded moms in the area.

I noticed some earlier Chatt activity but it looked like you may have moved elsewhere? Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone for the area is still at this forum.

Hope your little one gets to come home soon. If you are breastfeeding look in to the local LLL..great support for moms!

Yes, we're here! We just really stink at getting together, honostly. I really need playmates for dd (2 in Oct) now that she actually likes other kids, lol.

Are you in Fort O or Ringgold area? Any time you want to get together, PM me and we'll find a playground or something.

I'm in the north GA area, just across from the Chatty border too! DS is 8 wks tomorrow (wow time has flown!). The Ringgold, GA LLL group is great (and growing fast!). I started attending meetings when I was 17 wks PG and there were about 4 other moms there. At the last meeting there were about 10 moms! It meets the first Thursday of the month at 10 AM. PM me for directions if you are interested. Congrats on your new arrival ... I hope you get to bring him home soon.

Are there any moms nursing toddlers at the LLL in Ringgold? I have never been to a meeting because I was told the ones in Chatt really stink. I would love to go to one though.

I know the Ringgold leader has a 2-year-old who nurses and no one bats an eye during the meetings. I'm not sure how many others have nursing toddlers, but I am sure you (and your toddler) would be very welcome at the meetings.
