hello everyone,
i just wanted to introduce myself. my name is leah and i am expecting my first baby in late sept this year. in doing lots of online research for local resources, i realized that the motheringdotcommune would be a great way to make connections and get ideas for local resources. most of the other internet stuff is so different in opinion than i am on so many topics. i figured, go straight to the magazine that i have found to be so agreeable with my and my husbands viewpoints and see what it has to offer. so here i am, and glad to be here.

I can remember when I was pregnant with my first one. it was the weirdest most exciting time of my life. so much to learn. but the most important thing comes the easiest...just love that baby!!

Thanks everyone! I am very new to the whole online/message board community type thing, so I'm a little unsure about protocol, but I wanted to say thank you so much for the warm welcome.
