Hi Mamas,
First I want to say thank you to everyone who responded to my previous posts and helped me find a midwife on my move out here. I am happy to report I will doing a home birth with Marie Wakefield in July!
:
Ok, so now that I'm here, it's all starting to set in... I'm alone. With a huge move, husband's new job, me having no job, no friends or family, I am facing a bit of an identity crisis and loss of self. I am searching for a support group/network of other mamas or mamas to be, to get out and meet some people, find new hobbies (since my old days of skydiving and sport bike riding are now out too), learn about the local area, and just get out of my house and off my computer! I tried searching for a prenatal yoga class and found absolutely nothing
So, are any of you looking for an addition to your mama's group, or have any suggestions on where to go/look?
Thank you in advance.
Cheers,
Clare
