Ok I'm seeking some help and support..I believe I came to the right spot
. I am borrowing my mother's sewing machine until I can purchase my own and she brought me a bag of fabric to practice with. I have a pouch sling that I purchased awhile back and have recently made one and it's so easy!!! Now I want to make more things...But I am new to fabrics and such..If anyone can help me out on which fabrics are best to use and what's the biggest selling product. THANKS MAMA'S!!

Here Are Some I am wanting to make:

Diaper Covers
Cloth Diapers (AIO are big sellers I hear)
Wipes
Nursing Pads
Pouch Sling

The diapering market is pretty fickle.

I make wipes out of the following materials:
sherpa
velour
flannel
hemp fleece
hemp stretch french terry

For fitted dipes:
sherpa
suedecloth
hemp fleece
hemp jersey
hemp stretchy french terry

I don't care for AIOs, so I don't bother with those.

Nursing Pads can be made out of anything, but the backing needs to be waterproof.

Slings I make out of thin cotton, but we live in FL and there is rarely a call for thick slings.

Good luck! It's an addictive prospect, sewing dipes is...

If you want information on how to sell diapers and things that you make, you should post in the WAHM Well forum. If you want to know what is popular, then go to the Diapering forum and the Babywearing forum and take notes on what people are talking about. If you want to know how to sew diapers or other items, then you are in the right spot.

HTH!
