Hi
I started ECing Desmina at 11 weeks. She is 14 weeks now. She will pee in the sink 3 to 5 times a day. I'm still doing it part time. She wears a diaper when she is sleeping and when we're out. When she is nursing I will place a diaper under her. She has pooped in the sink twice.
It's going rather well. She does prefer the bathroom sink to any other place though. I can get her to pee in her blue bowel sometimes but not too often.
Today she had no interest in going. I would position her and make the cueing noise and she would start crying so I didn't push it today. She went only 2 times in the sink today. She would make cues to go, I would take her but she got frustrated and then I would sit her in my lap and then she would go. I still made the noises though.
I'm so happy to see how responsive she is to this. I just hope today she was just having a bad day.

Hi Cynthia, I am no expert as only new at this myself but I know some days are better than others. I have been given the advice to not be concerned so much at getting every pee/ poop but at the communication. I am very happy to have this extra thing that I can do for her - it makes her happy too. So, it's been a couple of days - did things get better?

Yes she did better yesterday. She even pooped in the sink for me last night. She peed in public the day before yesterday! I think she was just having an off day.
