So my sisters in law and I are taking a day trip to NYC - Manhattan area. I know I can check travel guides, but I wanted to get a local's take on what to do. Any really cool natural shops? Any suggestions would be appreciated. i think it's going to be a half shopping/half cultural kind of trip. We're going to a show, I think. I know this is kind of lame, but I have't been to NYC in 10 years so I thought it would be fun to get some ideas. Thanks

my first recommendation is to take the train in. if you can't part with your car, take the gw bridge and park above (north of) 110th st.

ito natural stores, i recommend the upper breast side for BFing-related stuff...

i would recommend the metropolitan museum of art.

Thanks, we're actually taking the bus from Baltimore. $50 round trip And we are thinking of going to the museum. Not sure if SIL is much of a museum person, but I'm going to work on it.
