Hi! I've been a lurker to the forums for quite awhile and thought I really should take the time to introduce myself before I actually start posting.
I am a 33 year old mom to three children, ages eight, nine, and sixteen. I am separated from my husband and will go for our first court date on July 1st, so I'm a bundle of nerves currently. We live in a small town in South Carolina.
I was a stay at home mom for eight years and homeschooled my children for five years. I now work full time in a local daycare and my hours are such that I can be home when the children get out of school during the school year.
I enjoy reading self improvement books, mysteries, decorating books, and I confess to being a magazine addict. I also enjoy frequenting parenting forums and freebie boards. Yardsales are a new passion of mine and I'm slowing creating a comfy, welcoming home in the doublewide we are renting. The children and I miss our old home, which was actually my childhood home, but my husband mortgaged it out so that there is no way I could have made the payments or even paid the heating bills on my income. However, we're making a happy little life of our own now and are settling into our own routines.
I look forward to meeting you all!!
