Newbie... Saying Hello

Hi everyone. My name is Krista and I am the mother of TWO beautiful children. My daughter ~Madison~ was born in 2002 and, due to complications at birth, only lived 2 days before going to heaven. We then ttc for 2 long years and, it brings me great pleasure to say that my beautiful "rainbow baby" Elliott will be 1 next Friday!

I participate on a few other message boards and lurk a lot elsewhere. I work part-time while spending all day with Elliott. I live in Seattle and am originally from Portland. My dh and I just celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary yesterday.

Hmmm... what else? I love to go for long walks, watch movies (when I get the chance), cook, scrapbook and play with ds.

...i read madison's website. i'm so deeply sorry that anyone would have to experience that but in a way you have been gifted with knowledge of life's preciousness and can now offer your child(ren) a whole new level of love! elliott is very lucky for the gift his big sister has given his mother!
