I have a couple of Kissaluvs, a couple FunOrganics, a Stacinator print diaper & cover & a solid Stacinator (I've read that only the solid colored ones are waterproof?) I also have a couple of these other diapers that look like Kissaluvs with purple piping & purple snaps but no name. I have about 2 dozen CPF & nylon or plastic-type covers & a few of those snappi things.

I think I like the Kissaluv type, I don't have any FB yet, but I hear they're great. I am COMPLETELY CLUELESS about CDing. This is my third DC, with the other two, I wasn't as enlightened .

I have no idea which ones need liners, how to go about washing...what's a micro fiber liner?

Hello again!

Ok, fitteds may or may not need a doubler added (that would be some extra absorbent fabric that you could lay into the diaper). Kissaluvs aren't terribly absorbent, but they get the job done. Fitteds need covers. Covers can be pul or wool or fleece-something that works as a "waterproof" barrier from wetness. Solid pul is usually better than printed cotton puls for not wicking-when wetness seaps through the absorbent layers and eventually also saturates the waterproof layers. You'll get your own wash routine down, but a good generic starter routine is one hot wash followed by 2 cold rinses. Some do prerinses, some exclude the 2nd rinse at the end. IT is all about preference and what will get your diapers clean. Don't put more than about 2 doz total diapers in any one wash load b/c it will probably be too many diapers to get them all fully cleaned. You can line dry or dryer dry or both. I"m not familiar with those microfiber things-I think they are somewhat reusable and they act as extra absorbent layers. I could be wrong on that, though. FB's are pocket diapers. You'll need to stuff them with something to make them absorbent. Your pf's will work fine for that.

What else do you wanna know??
